Galloway Hydro-Electric Scheme

Lotus Electrical Services Ltd was contracted by RWE npower to replace the neutral earth resistors on 6MW hydro-electric turbines. The hydro scheme was originally constructed in 1936 and generates 114MW. This upgrade was the first of its kind from the original construction of the site.

We have held the framework for the Galloway and Lanark Hydro systems for all of the electrical and instrumentation repairs and maintenance for the past 10 years.
